Poem 26

Another black man has crumpled under the hands of the law
Another city is smoldering in hate and confusion
Another group of people are wailing and burning buildings
And no one with power is controlling
The hearts maddened with fear and injustice
They are blindly moving across Lines with police dogs and heavy armor ready to cock and shoot
We keep posting statuses with our opinions
Telling those not black they have no idea what blacks are experiencing there is no relief
People are seeing other people die
By the hands of those who are guided to protect us
So what
So what is next

About monalisasrandomthoughts

I craft people poems. I laugh out-loud. I love all things. Everything is about order. My movements are chess. Everything to me calculates. I just look like this.
