A summer day

I hear noises outside my window
As the breeze blows in on my feet
The sun is blazing and happiness is flowing
I hear dogs barking and insects
I hear cars driving past my house
It seems a simple day so far
Giving thanks to breathe another day
Above the ground
Is sizzling today
Errands are made
Parties to start
Babies are being born
It is noon exactly
And my smiles will overshadow any pain I’ve conjured
And I am going to nap…

About monalisasrandomthoughts

I craft people poems. I laugh out-loud. I love all things. Everything is about order. My movements are chess. Everything to me calculates. I just look like this.
